Your baby's musical journey starts with Kindermusik Village. Village provides an engaging experience of learning and bonding with your baby, a unique place where your baby's growth and development are nurtured and all of her senses stimulated. It is a celebration of your child's natural curiosity and irrepressible joy, all in a developmentally appropriate place tailored just for babies. With the help of a licensed Kindermusik educator, learn how to inspire your child's learning through singing, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and creative movement. Village incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. We'll provide you with more tools to continue the enrichment at home. You'll bond with your child reading baby's own book & listening to the CDs. And parents receive their own journal filled with ideas for extending the musical activities.

Zoom Buggy and Dream Pillow
Unit Description
How many ways can Baby and Parent zoom in Village? Hop in the Zoom Buggy! and find out! Through a variety of songs, chants, and instrumental selections you and Baby will experience the rumbling of a baby buggy, the squeaky stroller, the bumpa bumpa bumpa of the wagon, the train chugging up the track and much more.
Baby is the star in Dream Pillow, with each activity carefully planned to stimulate his developing brain, thereby promoting physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and language development. But it is the parent who is watching and guiding this little star on the rise, and Dream Pillow, like all of the Village units, is written with the parent very much in mind.

Kindermusik Our Time
Program Summary
Kindermusik Our Time introduces your child to a musical world filled with movement and sound. Our Time encourages your child to discover the joy of music while building confidence, self-control, and communication skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification help foster language skills. Creative movement to a wide variety of music develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness, and affirms a child's urge to move. Listening and turn-taking activities encourage blossoming social skills. Exploration time encourages a child's discovery of specially designed instruments, textures, sounds and movements. And music & movement story time encourages emergent literacy skills. With your help, your toddler can continue learning at home by working in her activity book, listening to her CDs, reading her musical storybooks, or playing with the instrument included in the At Home Materials.

Milk and Cookies
Unit Description
Imagine the aroma of baking cookies, the coziness of the family kitchen, the chatter among sisters, brothers, grandmas, granddads, mom and dad, and the anticipation and excitement of having friends come to visit. These moments at home are times to be shared and treasured. These special moments are captured in Milk & Cookies. As in the other units of Our Time, the central focus of Milk & Cookies is the toddler's need for security balanced with his need for independence. Milk & Cookies songs and activities promote interaction between parent and child where the parent gently guides their child's learning and the process of scaffolding takes place. Capturing the security, excitement and familiarity of "at home" moments is the ideal theme for empowering the parent to act as teacher through scaffolding. What better way for parents to lead their child than with familiar, everyday home activities such cooking in the kitchen, dusting and washing clothes?
